I would like to extend a warm welcome to Churchill College, at the University of Cambridge for ISER XII. The first International Symposium on Equine Reproduction was held over 5 days in mid-July 1974 at King’s College, Cambridge.
Subsequent symposia have been held in Davis, Sydney, Calgary, Deauville, Caxambu, Onderstepoort, Fort Collins, Kerkrade, Lexington, and Hamilton. It is fitting that it now returns to Cambridge for the twelfth Symposium.
Churchill College offers wonderful facilities for the scientific and social parts of the Symposium and I hope you take the opportunity to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the University of Cambridge.
For 800 years Cambridge has been a centre of academic excellence. Perhaps a little bit of history will be made this week!
